Universal Studios Singapore opens at Resorts World Sentosa, 8:28 am on March 18, 2010

It is official. You do not have to wait anymore. You do not have to pose the same question again. The theme park everyone in the region is waiting for will soon be launched!

Located at Resorts World Sentosa, Universal Studios Singapore will soft open to its first public guests at 8:28 am on March 18, 2010. It will open earlier on March 13 to team members.

Ticket sales for Universal Studios Singapore’s soft opening will begin at 9am on March 10, 2010. For our friends in other parts of the world, our timezone here in Singapore is +8GMT.

During this soft opening period, as it is possible that some attractions may become temporarily unavailable as Universal Studios Singapore continues its technical and creative adjustment, we are offering dining and shopping vouchers worth S$15 for every ticket bought. Notices outside the park will inform guests of any temporarily unavailable attractions.

Guests to the park will need to purchase admission passes a day in advance. Purchase can be made online at our website, via phone bookings at +65 6577-8899 or at the box office from 9 am to 6 pm daily at Universal Studios Singapore. Note: Passes will only be available from 9am on March 10, 2010.

Express passes can also be purchased in a similar manner as the other passes. In addition, you will be able to buy same-day express passes at our box office. Though limited per day, guests are highly encouraged to check out the available attractions and crowd conditions before making the purchase.

Hotel guests are encouraged to purchase park passes when they make their rooms reservations. For guests who had already booked rooms before today, please purchase the tickets from our website, write in to reservations@rwsentosa.com or call +65 6577-8899 from March 10 to make arrangements.

Limited tickets will be offered during this soft opening phase. We encourage guests making their way to Resorts World Sentosa to purchase their tickets to use public transport. Check out our website for Universal Studios Singapore general visitor information as well as on how to get to Resorts World Sentosa.

Are you brimming with excitement and perhaps not a few questions? Before you arm yourself and start shooting us with questions, please look at our USS FAQ. Perhaps the questions have already been answered there.

We look forward to your visit to the first Universal theme park in the region!
