Now we know what these turrets are for

IT'S HARD to keep a secret, as anyone who has been driving into Sentosa can see these turrets peeking out of the Resorts World Sentosa/ Universal Studios Singapore site.

What you see here are the turrets atop the Far Far Away Castle from the world of Shrek, and which have been greeting visitors to the Sentosa Island as they commute in.

As mentioned in an earlier post, the Far Far Away Castle from the world of Shrek is a world's first, together with the Madagascar theme park attraction, which is also one of its kind in the world.

We are always happy to see excited fans like Kenneth, as well as Greg Semon, who regularly come down to Sentosa Island to take pictures of the resort's construction.

This picture of a roller coaster carriage, for instance, was snapped by Kenneth, who spotted it near the Battlestar Galatica, which is also the world's tallest dueling coaster.

The intrepid photographer had taken this shot from outside of the barricaded compound and posted it on our Facebook Fan Page.

Hence, we invite you to share your pictures of our progress with us.

Personally, we are glad to be part of history in changing the Singapore landscape, and this is why we hope you can share your memories of our development with the rest of the world as well.

Just log in here and join in our conversation. :) See you there!
